Thank you for coming to the New Year's Party!

The 2012 JAGP New Year's Party was held on
January 8, 2012 at Sheraton Society Hill Hotel.
We celebrated the beginning of the New Year with almost 200 people.
We would like to thank all the businesses/associations for their contributions and support for our biggest event of the year.
We wish you all a wonderful year ahead.

The earthquake and tsunami on March 11 caused unprecedented damages to wide areas. We hope your family, relatives, and friends in Japan are safe. We pray for those people who are affected, and our deepest sympathy for many people who lost their loved ones.

To assist people in the afflicted areas, and in cooperation with other Japan-related organizations in the Philadelphia area, we have established a relief fund.

In the interest of an efficient and coordinated response, the JAGP and all J7 organizations (area Japan related organizations) have produced a single website, utilizing the JASGP Cherry Blossom popularity for maximum exposure. Your contribution from website will also go to the Japanese Red Cross Society. We greatly appreciate your understanding and thank you for your generosity.

Donations we collect will be directed to Japanese Red Cross Society recommended by the Japanese government. We hope you will understand our effort and ask your generous support. For a contributor who donates $50.00 or more, a letter of appreciation will be sent from Philadelphia-Japan Disaster Relief Fund.

This fundraising activity is a cooperate effort with Philadelphia area Japan related organizations - Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia, Friends of the Japanese House and Garden, The Japanese Association of Greater Philadelphia, The Japanese American Citizens League, Ikebana International, and Japanese Language School of Philadelphia.
